For example, when I take my walk, I walk by the pond next to what I call "The Gay Mallard Club" LOL. I don't know for sure if these ducks are gay but there are 6 male ducks that are always together. Sometimes they're paired up, snuggling next to each other.
My point is, whether these ducks are actually gay or not, there ARE gay animals, scientists have found many. So, how do you deny that being gay is a natural occurrance in nature? Should we be witnessing to the gay ducks, then? LOL

Laughing at Buckeye... yup, I snuck into the pond at night and taught those ducks all about the gay lifestyle. You ARE joking, right?

For those that say animals are different from humans, yes, you are correct. But you cannot say that homosexuality is UNNATURAL when it occurs quite often in nature, including animals.

Oh I'm sure when certain people see gay animals, they run after them yelling, "YOU CAN PRAY THE GAY AWAY!!" "Choose Jesus and choose to be heterosexual!" and when that doesn't work they just throw bibles at them.
If they are lucky they can find a bi animal, convince it to only like the opposite sex and then parade it around to all the other gay animals, saying that we all can change, and that all we need it Jesus to be saved as heterosexuals! :)

Its weird! No I'm just kidding! I'm Bi. I don't want to find out why we are like we are. Being gay is just the same as being straight. You are what you are, and you can't change that. If you try to be something you are not is just like lying not just to the people around you, but also to yourself. Love comes in different situations, form, age and experiences. But Love is still love. Even if you like the same genre or the opisit or both, if you love someone then you love someone, there is nothing weird in being what you are. The sexuality makes you know yourself better, what you like/dislike ect. So my answer is; I don't believe that being gay is wrong.

Well, I'm not answering this becuz I think being Gay is wrong -- I Don't think being Gay is wrong--
And yes I believe that we ARE animals-- HUMAN Animals. Heck -- we're mammals (I'm SO glad we are not marsupials! LOL!)
Life is EXTREMELY diverse. Nothing wrong with Gay anything.
I get a big kick out of telling people that the most FLAGRANT display of sexuality I have ever seen has been in the Spring-- when ALL the beautiful flowers are trying to get pollinated. Makes any other kind of lifestyle seem to pale in comparison!!!
PS- tell them duckie guys HI for me.

Animals aren't gay. To my knowledge scientistS have never found one sex of a species actively seeking out sex with same sex partners. In fact I would say that it is unnatural to be gay in nature because the main purpose of life is to procreate and spread healthy genes. Needless to say a gay animal would die off and not be able to mate.
Now, in some species males will mount the other males to show dominance but not because of sexual preference.
There have been many experiments recently regarding being gay including trying to make rats gay. Rats are one species of animals where males will mount to show dominance BUT the females will lift their heads and rumps when mounted and males do not.
The only way they got males to act like females was to stop testosterone production at an early age...3 months...basically making them female but with male sex organs. In humans this would be considered gender confusion and the person most likely would state that they feel like they should be the opposite sex BUT could still prefer sex with the opposite sex.
There was no proof that genetics had anything to do with it. They found several pairs of human twins where one was gay and the other was straight which rules out genetics.
So what makes people gay? It comes down to environment.
Scientists have found that a normal male baby has a 2% chance of being gay. Each old brother in the family increases that baby's chance of being gay by 1/3.
I am just starting to study psychology in college. Gender confusion and sexual prefereces is one of my current focuses of study.
Being gay is not wrong despite being unnatural. Be with whoever you want to be with and don't worry about what people think about it.
To the bible thumpers...God doesn't exist... now what are you going to do?

God's laws were written for people, not animals! I don't think you could even call an animal gay. Scientists saying that doesn't make it so.They don't have the same brains a person does. They are driven by instinct, not by thought or desire. They just know that they have to mate. Anyway, haven't you ever seen a bunch of guys huddling in a football game? And what I think about being gay is- it is wrong. But, It doesn't matter what I think. It only matters what God thinks about it. The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. As for the argument of being BORN Gay, EVERYONE is born into sin. Jesus said "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN, or you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!" and if you are born again (or saved) You will not have the same desires you had before. You will be a NEW CREATURE in Christ. As for ducks, they don't need to be born again. They aren't going to heaven anyway.
God Bless

I think it's a matter of choosing your sexuality and nothing to do with the religion. And its a total personal matter. Like choosing your spouse, and the religion doesn't say that you should choose a specific spouse lol, coz its not practical. So like wise religion cannot say which sexuality you should be. Its for you to decide. And been gay, lesbian, Bi or even a transsexual doesn't make you an evil or bad person.
Wot makes you bad or evil is from the way you think and the way you conduct your self.

Fish, Buckeye, and Esther,
OPEN YOUR EYES!!! Watch the world and see that nature and the Bible tell two different stories. My guess is that Nature "knows" more about itself than an old book does. Come on now...homosexuality is a choice? Let's ask some gay folks.

Quite interesting that so many people proclaim, "YOU CAN'T COMPARE HUMANS TO ANIMALS. WE ARE DIFFERENT," in response to your question and comments. But I wonder how many of those very same people use the opposite logic to justify animal usage- "ANIMALS KILL OTHER ANIMALS. WHY SHOULD WE BE ANY DIFFERENT? IT'S NATURAL."
Isn't it sad that so many people use whatever logic is convenient for THEM?
EXAMPLES:
Sex is instinctual in animals, so animals cannot be homosexual, heterosexual, or bisexual. But sex is not instinctual in humans, therefore humans are either homosexual, heterosexual, or bisexual. (Nevermind that animal instinct drives animals to procreate. So why do some animals have sex with animals of the same gender? Dominance? Why? Animals show dominance in so many other ways, so why would they instinctually dominate by having sex?)
Killing animals is necessary for human survival. The proof is in nature. Animals kill other animals. But killing other humans is wrong (even though many animals kill members of their own species).
Animals have no emotion and little to no intelligence. These are two of the main differences between animals and humans. Animals function based upon instinct. But animal liberation is animal cruelty, because liberators release animals that have been raised in captivity and the animals cannot fend for themselves. (What about animal instinct?)
There are enough physiological similarities between animals and humans that we can yield accurate results via animal testing. And these results provide much needed information to help us determine the safety of medication, cures and treatment for diseases and illnesses, etc... But animals and humans are different, so we need to conduct clinical trials before marketing drugs. (WHAT?!?! This makes as much sense as giving an animal some water to see if it'll urinate afterwards when you know you'll drink the water regardless.)
The list goes on...
See the hypocrisy? And to point out the ridiculously obvious: Humans are animals, too. We're just another species.

Wow, because animals do it, it must be ok and natural for humans. That is about the most ridiculous argument I have ever heard in support of homosexuality.
Some animals eat their young. Would it be ok for us to do that?? Does that justify murder as being "natural"?
Animals do not have a soul.
Animals do not have morals.
Animals do not know right from wrong.
There is a huge difference between humans and animals.

The animal world is not a mirror of ours. Animals never have nor do have sex for the reasons humans do. They do not have sexual desire, pleasure, relationships...they do not have souls made in the image of God.
Ask any animal behaviorist, and they will tell you that "mounting" another animal shows domination. They are setting up the pecking order, or showing themselves to be the alpha male. It has nothing, whatsoever, to do with sex.
Animals do a lot of things by nature, that we humans do not do. They have a body language all their own. You can't just pick out some aspects of animal behavior and use it to justify human behavior. If you put any thought into it at all you see that it's really plain ludicrous.
Next they'll be studying animals to justify pedophilia. I mean there are plenty of older male animals who have sex with the youngest female in the herd, or the flock, or whatever. Does this make a case for pedophilia?
Also...in animal sex...the females are often bitten, their hair or feathers are pulled out...it's more akin to rape in some animal circles...again...what are we to take from that?
I think it's just so easy to say...oh animals do it, it must be okay.
These animals are not GAY in the sense of the word as we've come to know it and it's really silly to even try to justify homosexuality via animal behavior.
