and it is totally legal and the decieved man is still held financially responsible.

I agree that the laws discriminate against men in cases like this. My Atty defended a man in what he jokingly called, "the turkey baster bastard case." The woman had retrieved the condom from the waste basket & used a turkey baster to impregnate herself. The court held that in the interest of the child & because the man had a larger income than the woman, he would pay child support during the time he didn't have custody... they were awarded joint custody of the child.

Yes I think it's wrong of anyone to do this, so what u need to do is make sure that u too buy condoms and open the pack ur self and let each other see the other open it put it on ur self.

But her getting pregrant is the least of concerns maybe u should also be more concern about passing around an STD

So when and if ur going to have sex with u girl or guy YES use a condom and be very sure to open the pack in front of each other check it make sure it's not defective and make sure u put it on right and change it once u have used it throw the used one away flush it if u have too

U would be surprised at how some girls can take the used condom out ot the garbage and use a turkey baster to insert the semen into her. So u want to be 100% careful and cover ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BASES

It is most definitely wrong, especially considering the woman can terminate the pregnancy fairly easily. I hope all the people who say "if you play, you pay" are totally anti-abortion in all cases, otherwise you're spewing drivel.
Why is it that a woman can get out of her "responsibility" on a whim basically, and the man is held without recourse regarding the woman's decision??
If a woman has a right to choose what to do with her body, shouldn't a man have a right to choose what to do with his wallet?? That sounds a little more fair to me.

k your first answer person I think missed the question. Yes stuff happens beyond someones control and you can become pregnant in that case both party's should be responsible but in the case of some WOMEN getting pregnant after telling the guy she was on birth control and if she were to lie about that then yes I think the law is wrong but the guy was miss led its not like the condom broke on accident. He was lyed to after he made it clear he wanted no kids

Hopefully if a man is taking that chance when having sex with his partner, he is also taking his own responsibility to ensure that she doesn't become pregnant, either by waiting until he trusts the woman, or handling his own condoms.

It is wrong for a woman to do this, but it isn't the law's responsibility, it is the man's responsibility to protect himself if he is having sex too.

Just like it is wrong for someone to steal my car, but if I leave the door unlocked and the keys in the ignition, I'm the one who is going to lose in the end. It is still my responsibility to take precaution.

what a load of b.s. i don't know of a single female who would try putting holes in a male's condom. honestly, how stupid do you think we are to believe that?
i pretty much believe you play - you pay!
as for lying about birth control, perhaps she wasn't lying. it doesn't always work you know, besides which if you are so convinced that this is what women do and so very concerned about being lied to & deceived then why the hel1 don't you carry condoms, open it yourself and put it on?
grow up and be a man - take some responsibility for your sex life - don't be leaving birth control up to others to take care of and then whine when something comes up.

That is wrong. But you also can't prove it. Never trust the oposite sex. If you plan to have sex, bring your own, (safe from holes) condom, put it on yourself. This will elimate one of your issues.

This is a dog eat dog world. every man/woman for them self. The only person we can trust is our self.

If you are with someone you don't trust, don't have intercourse with that person.

You need to develope a relationship with someone you care for and grow to love, then you won't have any problems.

yes, the law in this case wont serve the inocent one. However, the law also protects women who fall in love with loosers who get them pregnant and ditch them. It helps poor single mothers raise there kids. But, i see the problem with this law if you help the mother then u also fault the father visa versa. Its difficult but these things need to be fixed i think they should introduce compulsary paternity testing to stop any fraud 2.

The laws are totally correct. If a person is that worried about the financial responsibility of a child, he just shouldn't be having sex.

In the old country, you'd get a dowry for marrying a woman. Now, the man has to pay. So much for equality.
