I just ate an apple and the center was all brown and moldy with what looked like little cobwebs inside. I didn't eat any of the moldy part, but might have gotten some on my mouth. What happened to my apple and is it bad that I ate some of it?

your screwed. No, just messin. That apple is just probably old apple that something got into. I suggest go to your doctor, or the ER. They'll probably give you a medicine to help with whatevers bad that you happened to eat.

It sounds as though your apple had become the home of a creepy crawly. The bad news is, you didn't find the creepy crawly!

No, you won't get sick from eating the mold. We eat mold all the time in cheese. Next time, but the apple open first.

Your stomach acid will break down the mouldy bits no fear of getting sick from fruit like this.
More dangerous is old meat, eggs, etc...etc...
