And be happy even though they are evil to the core, and the good religious people get cancer and suffer a horrible fate? I am tired of seeing good caring people I love die of cancer and the horrible souless people going on and enjoying life. It is not right, it is wrong plain and simple!

Be at peace dear one. When do you pick a flower? When it blooms or when it wilts? Not all are picked in the prime of life but many are. There are still many good and loving ones who care about you and others. Take comfort in those you know.
Remember that not one falls that the Father does not see. He is patient not negligent.

Well, first of all, I don't see a difference between "Good religious people" and others. People are people, and we all make mistakes.

But why? Who knows. Some might tell you it's aprt of God's plan, or some kind og divine retribution. But I think the universe is balanced and even the horrible things serve good in the end.

I have no proof for any oth that, of course, but it's what I believe.

As for evil people enjoying life? Well, that's part of the balance, too. If they get you to hate them, though, you are becoming like them. Be happy for them and hope (or pray, if you so desire) that they find peace and learn to know how pleasant it id to spread joy.

You are thinking in limited terms. Good stuff happens to good people and bad people. Bad stuff happens to Good people and bad people. All becasue we live in a fallen world that is dying. The disease and illness are not something God decides to give people. It's a result of a world that started dying when Adam sinned. It gets worse, the more it dies. It may seem that those evil people are having the good life, but it's only for a short time. If you lived to 100, that's a blink of an eye when it comes to eternity. They will have to spend all eternity dying, the Christians or 'Good" people will spend eternity living. It's hard for people to truly grasp eternity. But look at it this way. I'll give you two choices, you pick the one you would rather have.

A) For the next two years, you will be a billionaire, you will never get sick, you will never be sad. You will feel loved and always be happy. But after that, the next 60 years you will be poor, homeless, afflicted with aids, have no friends, feel unloved and hated.

B) For the Next two years you will be poor, homeless, afflicted with aids, have no friends, feel unloved and hated. But after that, the next 60 years you will e a billionaire, you will never get sick, you will never be sad. You will feel loved and always be happy.

What one would you choose? Note you have no doubt in your mind that the one you choose will happen. Most would choose B, sure they would suffer, but as soon as that suffering was over their life and future would be wonderful and their past just a faint memory. But for those that choose A, sure right now they are happy, but it will always be darkened by the future, they will spend the rest of their lives in regret for not choosing the right answer, they will have no hope.

God never said accept Jesus and your life on earth will be wonderful, in someways he said it would be worse and we would be persecuted, but that our reward was eternal.

Plus those that suffer now, if they have Christ in their heart are happier then those that suffer and don't have Christ. For if you call on Him, hw will give you strength. I have Crones disease, and have been hospitalized 3 times. The last time I lost so much blood I had to be carried to the hospital. But I pray and get the strength to make it through each day, and work and am a single father. I know so many with this disease that can't even work. Could God take it away, sure, why doesn't he, I don't know. But I know having to relie on him every day draws me closer to him and makes me feel loved. You can allow pain to push you away from God or Draw you closer, it's your choice.

Lupinesidhe has it completely right quoting Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. We do not have the right to decide who dies and who lives. It is all God's doing, and he wants the loving caring people to help serve Him in Heaven. The "mean" people are to stay here on Earth and learn more before they die. Our life on Earth is not the life to be looking forward to, it should be our life with God. The only reason we are on Earth is to live by God's word so that we can go to Heaven and spend an eternity with Him!

Because they are here to give us a visual of something to not become. We can look at people living horrible lives, regardless if the are happy or not, and we can say "I will never let myself become that." Every one can get sick, or get cancer, and everyone does die. But I know what you mean. Sometimes I think I would be happier if I didn't care so much, but I figure I'd rather be kind and caring than happy.

Nothing really makes sense when it comes to anyone you love getting sick...I believe that we all have a purpose here...and that yes---horrible people stay way too long---but in reality, you are not in their shoes. To believe that they go on in this world enjoying life is just not true, yes they don't die, when we will like for them to, but living a good life they are not.

Imagine trying to keep that much negativity all the time...and giving that out to the world...I think the good people sit there and take it and listen to all that non-sense and absorb it, and eventually their bodies take on too much. Because good people are brought to believe to help everyone...and that also include the horrible people.

Murderer, rapist, mass killers and just plain horrible people---will pay -- no one ever goes and die without paying their for doing wrong to other...the Universe does not allow that, plain and simple.

No its not right, and yes is sad, but believe we will all, ultimately will die, some of horrible death, some sleeping and some just doing what they love...your focus is not to worry so much of whom stays and go, but how you want your life to be.

I choose to live a good, healthy and peaceful life...and die when my body had enough...

As a Christian I look at the big picture, in that every person born on this earth will die someday. Our lives on this earth is finite compared to eternity. Even if the evil people live to be 100 years old, it is but an instant compared to eternity and facing a Holy and Righteous God. An eternity in Heaven with the Father and His Son more than will make up for any suffering on this earth.

"Envy not success, nor pity failure, for you do not know what is success or failure in the soul's reckoning." --Neale Walsh, Conversations with God

It's really not up to us to say who 'deserves' what. And it is not in our power to dispense it if we could. Life isn't fair; but it's not fair to anyone, for good or ill, so in that sense it's fair. In paradox lies the truth.

Don't worry about what other people get out of life, your job is to make the most of your life that you can, and thus honor your loved ones by being someone they would be proud of, and happy for. And do you think a souless person can really be happy? I promise you that anyone who is mean is not a happy person. Happy people do not go around causing others pain. Happy people are caring and loving.

My sympathy for your loss.

On that basis, if I was mean enough I would live forever. Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin would all still be alive.

Your premise is wrong. Death and disease is random. Good people get to live, bad people get to die.

The difference is that you have learned that things should be 'fair'. This is a great concept for a successful society, but the universe does not care. Hence you notice it more when a good person dies and when an bad person survives and you get a perception of unfairness that is not there in reality.

"Life's tough. Then you die. Then they throw dirt on your face. Then the worms eat you. Be grateful it happens in THAT order."

I wonder how you know who is, and is not, "evil to the core?" While the death or illness of a loved one is hard---my mother goes in for cancer surgery this coming Monday---I don't think it is in any way related to "goodness" or "horribleness." (Frankly, Mom's a good bit of both, in roughly equal doses.)

Most things have natural explanations, not spiritual ones.
It's not that there AREN'T spiritual laws involved---I believe in orlog and Wyrd, myself---but when talking about something like cancer, it's a lot more helpful to look at genetics, diet, lifestyle, and environment.

I think you have a very narrow-minded view of life. Every one of us in this life suffers at one time or another. I have known so-called 'bad' people to suffer debilitating health problems, and I have known so-called 'good' people to live long, relatively healthy lives.

I have lost people I love to cancer and other diseases, but I never attributed it to them being good or bad - sickness, death... it's all a part of life on this earth, and to a degree, it's *how* we live it, in terms of our lifestyles (diet, exercise, etc.)

It is wrong to wish painful death on others because you have issued a summary judgment that they're 'bad' or 'evil.' We would all do best to examine our own lives and live the best we can without comparing pain and suffering with others.
