find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Definately.....through diet AND exercise. It's almost impossible to do one without the other. Watch your calorie intake and start doing cardio at least 3 times a week for about 30 minutes. Make sure to drink atleast 8 glasses of water each day as well. Once you get comfortable with your cardio, you could increase the time or start including resistance training.
If you're able to get a membership from a local gym, try using the treadmill or the elliptical trainer (burns most calories) as your method of doing cardio. If you can't get to a gym, invest in a few workout DVD's that you can use at home.
By incorporating resistance training, your body will build some muscle, which will aid in the burning of fat.
Good luck!!

hi...yes you can. But depends how much you're weighing now. Remember you can stop losing weight if get the look/like the look you get. You just have to maintain it from then on. Don't overdo it.
First of all, find a workout that you like e.g. swimming, jog, walk, biking..etc..Introduce yourself to weight excersices to tone and shape your muscle and to target specific areas. Combine these workout and do it on alternate days.e.g..
MON- Bike
TUE -Gym
WEd-Bike and so on..Have one day rest in a week...say SUN?
What you eat also has effect on your weight. If you know of any food that you're eating now is making you put on weight, you have to stop taking it immediately. You can have your favourite food back slowly and gradually after you've seen some results in you. Remember, in moderation.
As some of them have already suggest some good and healthy eating options for you, you can try them. Avoid taking too much of any artifivial/ preserved drinks or food if you can. lastly, patience and perserverance will help.

It really depends on your current weight! If you're like 140-150 pounds then, well.....yea you could. But the more you weigh, the more you lose! So just eat really healthy, and work out at least 4 times a week!! Energy drinks really helped me, I lost 100 pounds, here's how:
Diet:
Breakfast: Energy Drink (Rockstar/Enviga)
Lunch: Sandwich with no cheese, and no mayonnaise, on wheat bread. Turkey/Chicken with pickles, olives, and cucumbers, and vinegar, but NO oil.
Dinner: Protein Shake with nothing but milk and protein powder. If it helps, it really make you feel fuller if you add water or ice.
Workout:
1 hour of jogging/walking around the block
50 crunches
25 minutes of weight lifting
do it as soon as you wake up, I do it at 5:00 in the morning!!!
Good luck, Happy to help!!!

Yes, eat about 1500 calories a day and get 30-60 min exercise every day. Try running, walking, swimming, biking, hiking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, skiing, water skiing, canoing, kayaking, rowing, sailing, weight lifting, kick boxing, elliptical machines, treadmill, swimming, stationary bikes, stair climbing machines, martial arts, pilate's, yoga, dance, or any other active exercise that you like. Just make sure the activities that you choose are things you like to do.
