I totally agree!! Its a ridiculous "power trip". I got reported and kick off after attaining a level three. Just for asking a question about Ritalin......Really??? Gimme a friggin break!!

The point is it makes them feel like they've done something for their God. "I reported the (place appropriate label here)... God will be pleased with me."
I agree. You don't like something, skip over it... or speak your mind. But to report someone because you don't like their personal beliefs (or lack thereof) is childish. Reporting should be saved for those who are threatening... not argumentative. Sometimes I feel like a babysitter when I come in here... watching all the kids tell on one another.

I only report people with pornographic icons or very obviously offensive language. Mostly I'm trying to keep the site rated PG13 for the sake of my kids.

i agree with you unfortunitlytheir are those individuals who feel that if they can't persade you to their side then they will report you to teach you a leason or something. just like their are those individuals who beleive (in real life) like hitler did that if you don't believe what they believe then you deserve to be tortured and killed. reporting someone and having their account deletated is like killing that person with out consiquence. i think that yahoo answers should dalete the accounts of people who falsly report another person that is if someone reports someone else and their is no foundation for that report other then just being mean.

They just feel that they don't have control in their life so Yahoo gives them some control. They can report people for saying something that they don't like. It's like the tattle tale in school. Remember them?
