Well, at this time God is dealing with me about not following a set of beliefs but making sure I am following Him.
There is a big difference and when I follow beliefs, I violate love.
I was also praying for a friend's daughter and I felt assured that she would be alright.
I also felt God impress me to settle things in my will (as in surrender) and not "try" so hard.

Do not act against my wishes. Obey Me in every sense of the word. Do not be egoistic. Do not do what your mind wants. Do what I tell you. Surrender 100% unto Me. I will set you release from the bondages of this world, from the bondages of birth and death. And eternally towards the all-blissfull heaven. Never dying, never aging, ever youthful is the world over there. This world and it's attachments are temporary. Do not seek pleasure in those. They butcher your soul.
Love does not come that easily. We cannot love something at the same time love God. That is blind love. We cannot act against the wishes of whom we love. Same goes with God's love. We only get it if we try to be honest with Him. Doing what He wants of us and staying within His commands. Some people may not like this idea but the truth is they are more interested in material objects than God so they don't like God telling them: stop watching TV, stop smoking, drinking alcohol, murdering animals,...because they are attached to material things than God. If God's love supersedes it's easy to lose hold of other attachments. God does not punish if you keep trying but He is not pleased if you don't even make an effort and feel you are right. That is utter stupidity in the highest form.

As I recall, the message went something like this: Keep your shoes tied, walk slowly, and drink plenty of water...
