The intention besides making money is to convey the ideas of ID because without visual references that justify the claim ID makes absolutely no ******* sense. BUT if you can visualize the propaganda it becomes MUCH more believable.

Are you refering to the New Museum of Contemporary Art? From their website:
"Founded in 1977, the New Museum of Contemporary Art is the premier contemporary art museum in New York City and among the most important internationally. The Museum's program of dynamic solo exhibitions and landmark group shows defines key moments in the development of contemporary art, reflects the global nature of art today, and spans a vast array of cultural activities and media.
The Museum is guided by the conviction that contemporary art is a vital social force that extends beyond the art world and into the broader culture. Our purpose is to engage diverse audiences ranging from arts professionals to those less familiar with contemporary art.
The New Museum is currently building a new, state-of-the-art facility on the Bowery designed by cutting-edge architects Sejima + Nishizawa / SANAA, scheduled to open in the fall of 2007. Over the coming year, the Museum will present programs around the city, and will continue to operate our world renowned store at the Chelsea Art Museum, 556 West 22nd Street (at 11th Avenue). "
From wikipedia:
"the only museum in New York City exclusively devoted to presenting contemporary art from around the world. Over the past five years, the New Museum has exhibited artists from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, China, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Germany, Poland, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, and the United Kingdom among many other countries. The Museum presents the work of under-recognized artists, and has mounted ambitious surveys of important figures such as Ana Mendieta, William Kentridge, David Wojnorowicz, Paul McCarthy and Andrea Zittel before they received widespread public recognition. In 2003, the New Museum formed an affiliation with Rhizome, a leading online platform for global new media art.
In late 2007, the New Museum will open a new, seven-story home at 235 Bowery, at Prince Street. This new facility, designed by the Tokyo-based firm Sejima + Nishizawa/SANAA and the New York-based firm Gensler, will greatly expand the Museum’s exhibitions and space."

The intention is to pervert science. Plain and simple.
They believe their biggest followers and contributors are being "swayed" by the real facts in accepted science.
And facts do bear that out--church attendence is down, tithing is down, mass donations are down, every where, in all sects.
Yet they fight with and among each other more than with the devil.
And so they need more and more every day to identify themselves as a united front, to give the impression of power and strength.
They want to legitimize their fake science, and themselves, with what they believe to be a "scientific" front, represented by this museum.
I just don't understand why any person with a functioning brain would support this museum of lies.
This thing is ridiculous. People arond the world are laughing at us, yet again, and rightly so.
They should be forced to call it, not a museum, but rather "monument to hysterical pandering of religion to people who don't know any better".

What, you mean the creation museum? It's intention is to convince as many people as possible that the world was made 6000 years ago by a magical sky daddy, where humans lived alongside the dinosaurs like the Flintstones.

My advice would be to have a look at their website to see what they claim, and their basis/evidence to support what they claim. People who have become stagnant in life and have decided to CEASE learning... will come up with all kinds of fabricated assumptions and lies about the creator of the museum's "intentions." Have a look! It's very interesting and refreshing, and full of scientific explainations.
