so i've been together with this girl i know KINDA well for a few weeks now. recently she told me that she is on birth control...which blew my mind. THEN i think about the dudes she has dated...cuz we went to school together... and it makes sense to me now why she would be takin "the pill". I never knew or heard of her to be a "slut" so-called, but sometimes she can get frisky if ya know what i'm saying.
but i guess the question is what should i do?? i'm not into the girls that sleep around and are overly experienced....brush it off or keep goin with it??
AND i wanna know the truth... Girls take the pill cause they wanna have lots of wild sex or cause of the less cycle shtuff??

The truth is, it depends on your girls. It's wrong to assume that she sleeps around just because she's on the pill...the fact is, the pill is so much safer for her...even if she's only had sex once or twice.
The pill helps regulate a girls cycle. If she has bad cramps every month, the pill helps reduce them to almost nothing. If she has an irregular cycle...which can be really annoying, the pill makes a woman's cycle very regular, so she knows exactly when her period is coming and going away. Plus, there have been studies done that show that birth control might prevent breast cancer. Doctors sometimes even give it to girls who have bad acne, it definitely helps with that. It also gets rid of some ovarian cists.
A woman, not on the pill, may be ruled by her hormones. Taking the pill gives women a chance to control their own bodies. You can't really fully understand unless you're a woman, or a much older man...which I'm guessing you're not.
If you plan on sleeping with this girl, you better hope she's on the pill. I bet you don't want any babies right now. And if you do, then it's something you need to discuss with her.
Last, taking birth control is a woman's own private decision. It really doesn't have anything to do with YOU...and you're wrong to judge her for it in anyway. Just ignore the fact that she's on it, if it bothers you that much, and love her for who she is, not the medicine she takes.

ok my friend , girls don't take the pill because they want to sleep around (never say that to a woman u will never get any). My girl was on the pill from tha age of 14 and she is now 25. Why ? because she had bad acne -yes it afects hormones that can lead to better skin. Also women go on the pill because if they want to have sex (like all humans do) and don't want to get pregnant at that time, then they can take birth controll pills. Remember she wants a life and a career too. They have the right to make that choice too.
So believe me your girl is not a nympho because she is on the pill she is smart. and if you are worried then do the responsible thing and wear a condom everytime

She told you she takes the pill so you'd sleep with her. I would ask her if you could have an honest discussion about sex. Let her talk. Believe what you want (trust me if she's slept around, she won't tell you). The safest thing to do is not to do, but if you do cover up!
A word of advice, if you need help deciding something like this, then you should take that as your conscience saying DON'T DO IT!

Sometime women continue to stay on the pill after a relationship concludes to remain regular. Also, the pill is prescribed for things other than birth control. Do not rush to judgment.

Um girls can take the pill just because they have really bad cramping and they want a regular period. It may not have anything to do with how many guys she slept with... just keep that in mind. But if it's really troubling you, you should ask her in a polite way, like has she been intimate with a lot of people, or something like that. Good luck!

I don't know how old you are, but you are very young sounding. I think if the girl is on the pill it is likely she has slept with other boys. If you decide to sleep with her use a condom each time- the pill offers no protection from STDs. If you are unsure then don't sleep with her.

well if you really dont like a girl to do that then go with your heart. and girls dont take the pill just for those two reasons. but the first one "have wild sex" is mainly the reason.

mk well 1st there is several reasons to take birth control 1 she might have a problem were her period last to long and i would no i have friend that have to take it and they dont sleep with other guys so any way if u think she is what oyu are intreated in go on give a shot if not lay off but dont just asume that she is a @*%$

If she on the pill then she sensible! Most people I know on pill do it to regulate their periods anyways. Also I know girls as young as 13 taking the pill.

There could be a number of reasons why she takes it.
You sound too immature to be dating anyway. Get out your lego building blocks for another couple of years.
Leave the girls alone at this stage in time. I think it's for the best...
