Be straight with him and just ask. Let him know what your wants/needs are, i.e. if you do or do not want to get married, whether you want kids, etc. You have a say too.

Talk to him!!!!! I hate when people start asking about what signs they should look out for!!! Forget the signs and just ASK!!! I am not trying to be harsh, but communication is key.
