My brother came home to fix our roof. He was done and decided to take a dip. Now this may sound weird but he swam nude. It was no big deal to me because I have seen him nude more times than I can remember. She came back and freaked when he got out the water nude and started to dry off. She hasn't spoken to me in a week. Do i owe her an apology?

i think yes... because u cannot change everything in the house... u should understand her... she doesnt like such things may be...
and she has been living in that house for more years that u... her upbringing and yours could be different...
so try to pacify her and make sure such things do not happen again...
afterall u should be in gd terms with her... she should be like a friend and u consider what she likes and dislikes too...

No, if you where ok with your BROTHER swimming NUDE in your pool that's your business. She should have a problem with him not you. If you want to apologies for something, tell her your sorry she felt so uncomfortable. And it is kind of weird that he swam nude. I will hope that there is nothing going on with you and your brother.(THAT WILL BE JUST NASTY)

Why is she mad at you? You don't owe her anything. I do, however, find it odd he swam nude in front of you. How hard would it have been to put on a pair of shorts? I don't have a brother, but if I did I sure wouldn't want to see his junk.

Why is any apology necessary? I do understand that people's psyches are formed & fixed differently so i get that she could be taken aback by this and some sensitivity is called for but an apology? No. I can't think of what is to be sorry for unless i am missing something.

You don't owe her an apology because your brother is a grown man and made his own decision. He's your brother and hopefully, that's all he is to you, RIGHT!!!

I am curious, Did you watch him while he was swimming?

OMG !!!! What is she doing??? No you don't really owe her an apology unless you think she needs one to make her talk to her again. Maybe have ur brother talk to her and smooth things over. Good luck !

If it was really that innocent, why are you feeling guilty enough to think you might owe her an apology?

No! Not everybody goes around naked in front of their siblings beyond 5 years old. Excuse us normal people if we freak out over it.
