i don't think there are more than 100 people on this earth that thinks she should be free right now! and those 100 people probably work for Paris! but we have to blame our self's we are the ones that made her famous. why buy the magazines, we go on the web sites that say "breaking news: Paris Released"! If we all want to do some thing lets just ignore her and don't buy the magazines or go on the web sites or buy her merchandise.

I won't get the best answer for this, but I'll defend Paris.

What she did, which most people don't remember, is to drive very slightly over the legal limit. In many states it wouldn't have been over the limit. She got parole for that. Then she drove with a suspended license, which her lawyer told her was ok, and got pulled over and the driving with a suspended license was a violation of parole.

I just watched a video clip of a suspected drug dealer punching an undercover cop in the face. He didn't go to jail for a day.

Paris went to jail and did the same time that almost any other person would have done had they committed the same crime. People don't even look at what she's done or how it compares to others, they just want her to suffer because she's a spoiled heiress.

People commit real crimes, crimes where they intentionally hurt people, and they don't do the time that Paris did.

I hate Paris Hilton for her skinny stuck up self, but fair is fair. She's getting the same punishment as the next guy would.

Whatever the reasons she was released early, I'm sure the people in charge have good reason to do so. Although, I must say, a petition would put authorities, AND Paris Hilton, on notice that the public is ever-vigilant and demanding equal treatment for all.

I think she has used her money and contacts to get out of jail. She will be back flashing her knickers on some table in a nightclub in no time, showing that she has learnt nothing. Apparently she has been let out because she is sick, does that mean when the other inmates get sick, then can leave on a tag as well? Disgusting, as usual the celeb lead a totally different life.

I think everyone kinda seen it coming, we just didn't know how she was going to get out of it...She wasn't about to go to jail for 40 days...well that old saying money talks, b.s. walks, this is a prime example that money can get you out of almost anything!!! In reality there is really nothing you can do. She is a heiress and definately a celebrity. Not that there is anything wrong with fame, and not that I have anything against her, but that is the way life is in America, if you are completely secure and sort of a wealthy and powerful figure of fame or whatsoever you have the freedom to use that to your advantage in any circumstance.

I'm not surprised. Miss Paris opened her big mouth and said that the "media" portrays her as something she's not (a spoiled rich kid) so she chose to go to county jail like anyone else would LOL.
