Come up with an excuse, you don't need to say you don't want to go, you would hurt her too much

We've invited our adult daughters to go with us on various trips over the past four years. Sometimes they go, but other times they have simply told us "thanks for the offer, but I think I'll pass". We're not offended when they don't go...hey, at least they can't say we didn't offer to take them! ;-)
