Give it time. How many other people do you suppose have agonized over the breakup of a relationship? I'll clue you in - everyone, at one point or another. How many of those people eventually got over it and moved on? All of the mentally healthy ones. What you're going through is extremely common, and we all have to deal with it from time to time. You'll be fine soon.

Ouch, heartbreak hurts doesn't it? You were in a long relationship and two weeks is hardly a spit in the ocean compared to three years!! I'm sorry that you're feeling this now, I know how hard that can be. It's the loss of companionship more than the person itself and I'm glad that you are smart enough to realize you don't actually want him back. Surround yourself with good friends and fun and when you're ready go on some dates for fun... dont' get serious any time soon!! Just let some fun guys take you out and wine and dine you! And be good to yourself, and remember you deserve better!

Just give it time. You were together three years so it will take time to get used to being single, if nothing else because of habit. Try and go out and do things you like to do, especially things you couldn't do in a relationship, and you will soon be over it. And as a plus if you are doing things for yourself that make you happy you will become more confident in yourself and as a result you will be more choosy about your next relationship. Then you will not jump into a bad relationship just because you are afraid to be alone. Works for both men and women.

Even when you feel good about your choice to break up, and you are confident it was the right decision, it is impossible to shut out thoughts of the ex. You spent 3 years with him and it is totally normal to think about him since for the last 3 years he was a big part of your life. It isn't anything to worry about. You will find that the thoughts fade after a while. Keep you chin up and best wishes!!! Stay strong!!!

sweetie, you 2 were together for 3 years. It is going to take more than 2 weeks to get over him! What you need is some serious girl time!! Get with your girls and get to know you by yourself! I know it sounds kinda cheesy but I was in your shoes and not getting right back into another relationship was a good thing.

You will need time. Here are some suggestions. Find a ggo d church to go to. Hang out with friends. Plan and take a mini trip with frineds whom are willing to go. Join or work out at a gym. join a martial art school. Get engaged with something that will facilitate the healing process. You can do it

Ok,the thing to do is try being his friend. You could still hang out with himt you would not have to be together. Don't go into a relationship to quick. Two weeks is not enogh time to get over him. Don't focus on boys for a while. Spend some time with your friends.

You still love and care for him alot. it feels like he is still there because he was there for so long. its going to take time to get used to the fact he isnt there but i promise it will be better. i know how that is. i went through that stuff my last relationship. i miss him but dont want him back. its natural to feel this way. you'll find someone new when the time is right and the matters of the heart are settled.
