I couldn't find things that could prevent them from hiring me. What kinds of things would prevent me? Am I good for at least an interview? How long is the wait for the call? Should I call them about my application? When should I call? I really want this job and I want to do every possible thing that will get me it.

I would wait at least two days before I called and speak to the manager and they would be able to give you a more definate answer . then stay on them if you really want the job but be sure not to bug them dont call every day . and if you dont get the job ask them why you did not get the job that will help you in future jobs. good luck and I hope you get the job.

I'm glad to see your confident knowing you would be the right person for the job. Here are some tips.

Call tomorrow and ask for management, introduce yourself and tell them you are calling to check on your application, and would like them to look it over, and your available anytime for a interview. Thank them for talking this call, and you look forward to hearing from them soon.

It's all about how you approach the situation. Do not become just another name on the pile of application, you have to make yourself stand out, and be someone they will remember. Good luck.

Competition could prevent them, someone better may apply.

If "nothing to prevent" is the best you have then you are not going to get the job. They look for reasons to hire, not lack of reasons to skip you.

I would give it a week before calling them.

Hope that they call you, but dont stop looking. I got a call yesterday from a place I applied for earlier in the week , but I had another interview for today., so I let the machine pick up.

Got the job I applied for today, so now I have my choice.

Keep your options open as much as you can without lying or stringing along any potential employer, but remember, you have to look out for yourself first.
Good Luck!
