Do not worry about it. While I do not like a desperate man now, when I was much younger I would have thought it was cute, and it would have made me feel good about myself.

Seeing as everyone (and occasionally women!) have the habit of changing their minds at the drop of a hat. I would take with a pinch of salt worrying about 'women finding it desperate.'
Either they will or they won't - ALL you have to do is to concentrate on the ladies that do not mind..

i've lost many realy fit girls through being desperate, and lack of confidance but its not a bad thing its a learning curve i'm married now but when i met her of the internet she was a stunner i had to do quite a few reality checks and bring my confidance up to par

Funny thing about a woman is that if she think she's got you before she actually has feelings for you- you are usually screwed. It's ok to let her know that you like her but it's not ok to let her think she has you around her finger until she cares enough about you to not wanna let you go.
