I don't understand why so many people in America think that the soldiers in Iraq are murderers. Wouldn't you shoot someone if they were shooting at you? Wouldn't you shoot someone who was driving a car full of explosives at you? Wouldn't you shoot someone who had explosives strapped to them and was trying to kill you? The soldiers over there are not murderers. The Iraqis are the murderers. They're the ones who blow up their own people. They are the ones who shoot their own people for even talking to a US soldier. All of the soldiers over there are HEROES! Every single one of them. They put there life on the line to protect their country, to protect YOUR right to call them murderers, to protect your right to protest, to protect people that hate them. How could you call that murder?

Our soldiers don't murder anyone, they kill the enemy. Most people in the US know this except the bleeding heart Libby's and Dem's who have never done any good for anyone except themselves. The reason that you think the whole USA feels this way is because they have the biggest mouths and they have the media in their coat pockets, everyone else has to keep busy actually earning a living and doesn't take the time to speak out like they should.

Are there troops over there that have committed murder? Yes, and this is well-documented. They are being punished for their crimes.

Are the troops murderers? Of course not. I agree with the other liberal that posted above...I would be willing to take a swing at someone who called me (a Soldier) a murderer. I don't agree with many things about Iraq, but I am not willing to allow someone who lump every honorable Soldier into the same pool as those criminals who have done the wrong thing over there.

Most people who do that kind of lumping, however, are generally regarded as idiots. I don't see this as a mainstream school of thought anywhere...but it does seem to be encouraged by the right (as in the right accusing the left of accusing the troops of being murderers), but in reality, I just don't see where the left actually does that all that often. Maybe I'm missing it.

It's not even the Iraqi's that are murderers, it's the terrorist that drives said car bomb into a market of innocent shoppers, or the terrorist that drives by and shoots people applying to be law enforcement or military personnel. It's the terrorist that captured 2 soldiers and tortures them to death.

Coalition Soldiers follow the chain of command, and answer to thier commanders if they screw up. All in all, the coalition troops are well disciplined, and follow orders, and believe in the Geneva conventions. Which are something that terrorists don't believe in.

i dont know anyone personally that has called the troops murders, but if i did hear it, id punch them in the face, lol not really, but i would serve them a frosty mug of shutthefuck up. am a liberal, and although i do not agree with the war, troops are not murderers, maybe a fraction of a percent, but they are brought up on charges.

they are simply following orders.

Thank you! The men and women over there should be loved and respected for what they are doing. They should not be condemned for doing their job. They should also not have the threat of an inquisition for doing their job.
