A lot of people are angry that Paris Hilton only spent a few days in jail, but I don't think most people spend any more than she did.

You're right!. Most people don't spend much time in jail except when they're waiting to be bonded out.

Time spent in jail for DUI depends on how many offenses the individual has, the circumstances, the ability to make bail, and any number of other things. First offense might be a night in jail while you wait for bail or to see the judge. Fourth offense can get you up to five years in prison. Paris isn't in jail for drunk driving, she's in jail for violating her probation by driving while suspended.

GET A CLUE!

Paris Hilton was NOT in jail for driving drunk! She was in jail for driving with a suspended license and for violating her probation!

What is the average time spent in jail for driving with a suspended license and violating probation?

I knew a girl who had 5 DUI and only spend a year and a half in jail.
The trick is to take their license for good and never let them abuse the privilege of driving again

In my county, 7 days first offense. 30 days and loss of license second offense. Paris was sent to jail, however, for drinving on a suspended license. The license was suspended for DUI.

No. I know a guy that has had two DUIs, driving without a license, without insurance, and spent about 5 days in jail.

He never violated probation though...

Her jail time was for breaching her probation, not for the DUI. She was caught driving with a suspended licence.
