The Koran specifically says that anyone who is not Muslim should be either converted or killed. That is not violence? Gee, is that part of the words of the prophet pure BS? You either believe the Koran or you don't. If you do, then you have to convert of kill nonMuslims. That's what the book says

The Quran has nothing to do with the violent methods of radical terrorists. They misinterpret the Quran on purpose so they can justify their ways with the illiterate majority in the Muslim world. Most Muslims do not take sides because they are not able to know for sure if the Quran justify violence or not. The original and only accepted as truthful version of the Quran is written in Classical Arabic, language that is no longer spoken by anyone, and language that is completely different from the Modern Standard Arabic of today. So, for this reason, the vast majority of Muslim, regardless if they are educated or not, cannot read and understand the original and only accepted as truthful version of the Quran. According to Muslims clerics, only the original Quran is the Quran and all translation are considered "mere interprtations", not the Quran itself. Besides, also according to Muslim clerics, each and every verse of the Quran has seven (7) different meanings to be used accordingly (clever!).

It relies upon on what you mean self grievance. What the West is quite asserting,is conform, exchange your faith to extra healthful our type and for Muslims, that's impossible. We view our type to extra effectual. the belief of democracy and loose speech and an excellent type of alternative Western judicial techniques are based in Sharia.Islam has mechanisms in place for exchange whilst it is mandatory and continually seeks to realize the optimal point of human rights interior the society.grievance of particular perspectives that are discordant with Islamic appropriate could desire to be destructive vocally via the final public. besides the fact that there are various factors are play interior the Muslim worldwide no longer the least of them, the present warfare on Islam.i be attentive to that it is supposedly a warfare on terror yet little question the media would not portray it that way.this is going to reason polarization and an excellent type of Muslims will desire to no longer communicate against destructive inner subject concerns whilst it form of feels that we are already being attacked externally. it is going to likely be complicated yet Islam could desire to do some considerable housecleaning in the previous we are able to progression as one ummah, united,at peace and striving at the same time.

Danial Hi...
What you do when someone among you does not follow your Holy-Book and do what ever he likes?
You are more aggressive only on Muslims! Why?
It is my firm belief that no religion allow killing of innocent people.
You seems to be more concerned on politics rather than religion! We don't rely on Western Media.
ADDITION:
To River Rat: Islam is the religion of Peace!
There is no compultion in faith. Muslim are more tolerant than Jews and Christians. We are bearing 1.4 Non-Muslims in Middle East since last many centuries but you always show racial hatred to Muslims in Europe and America ???
Islam is the most criticised Religion. No critic can quote from the authentic sources that Islam / Quran allow Killing of humanity. However Islam gives us permission to protect the faith and life of the belivers!
Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan are using this permission against the aggressors!!
What is the valid reason with your Christian brothers (Americans & British)to Kill Iraqi and Afghans in their own countries????????????
Wake up Zionists are using Christians!!

Criticism of Islam is a core offense in the belief system.
Catch 22.
Criticism=Infidel=Assault=Jihad=Death
Whoever put ISLAM together (and I don't think Muhammad was that smart) was very good at algebra.
BUT, they were not good at Physics. Positorn=Electron=2 Gamma rays
Cause and effect
Side effects cause problems
That's the nature of physics
When an Islamic from Afghanistan marries a London girl and takes her home and attempts to marry off their 5 year old daughter=SIDE EFFECTS

1.5 billion Muslims following the Quran. Do you think any non-muslim would survive on this planet if everyone interpreted the same way as those few does. Yes, there are verses of Jihad. Jihad in Islam is to fight against those who fight against our religion. It also teaches evil cannot be fought by evil. Many of those who fight today are run by politics then religion. Saddam also declared a Jihad during Gulf war when Iraq was about to be attacked by US for his own mischief. Majority of Muslims are against violance and preaching hatred. Quran has guidance from Allah. Those who are guided can never do evil actions in the name of Islam.

I honestly do not beleive it is the Qur'an that assists in propogating the violence -- it is a book, not a person. It is our responsibility to understand it properly and study it. It is not the Qur'an's fault some misinterpret it, it is ours.

I have to agree with Aishah.
In Islam, it is an obligation for every Muslim woman and man to seek knowledge. Islam understands that with knowledge, comes understanding - if one lacks understanding, one lacks the ability to practice Islam correctly in light of what is obligated of him/her.
The issue with radical terrorists is exactly this, due to their cultural deficiencies that restrict them access to acquiring knowledge, their lack of knowledge causes them to misunderstand the Qu'ran, when reading it and the critical messages within it are misunderstood. This is not the Qu'ran's fault - but an error of mankind.
Allah knows best.

Well said Aisha. Thank you. Quite honestly, I am tired of debating my religion with those who are not open minded enough to listen. I understand criticism and I accept that, but I will not be told NOT to practice my religion to make others happy.
