When we talk of world peace, what we really mean is peace only in the civilized western world right? Christians don't really care about the heathens, nonbelievers and forestdwellers in 3rd world countries like Asia, Africa and the middle east right? Is this an incorrect statement?

Won't deny there are some that are like you describe, but there ARE many many who are not.

More who are not and care about all peace and go not to convert but to help (example Both the Catholic and Methodist mission corps are humanitarian only, they are not there to convert). They are there to BE God's love, for them to serve Jesus' commandment of Love your neighbor as I have loved you.

So yes it is incorrect to make it correct say there are some or a few.

NOT all and NOT even the majority

Christians very much care about countries in Asia, Africa and the middle east area. That is why so many missionaries are sent out to those areas.

However, peace will not occur until Jesus, The Prince of Peace, returns.

A true Christian loves God with all their heart and by doing so has love for an concern for all of God's creations and wishes to see them saved. A true Christian will obey the law (the Ten Commandments). Allowing peace in on the "western civ. world" as you put it would be tantamount o breaking the 5th commandment "Thou Shall Not Kill". So if you hear someone say that they are a Christian and yet they believe what you have stated then they are not a true follower of Jesus. In conclusion your statement is false.

This is an incorrect statement. As Christians we give more money and time to help others in the whole world.

Actually, there are more Christians in Africa and other third world countries than in any western country.

You are kind of a bigot, aren't you?

OK, thanks for the thumbs up. I guess that you are not a bigot after all.

Where did you get that from?
Just in our neighborhood, huh? Let's not worry about anywhere else...Keep our blinders on...

When I pray for world peace..I am praying for revival. For the world...so they can know the peace of Christ, first. And peace with the people and govt.'s second.
