When they say tell me about yourself what do they really want to know?

What should i say?

Its an interview for a part time job.

They want a 30 second blurb about you. Where are you from? What schools did you go to? What was your major/what are you studying? What are a couple of your hobbies (just a few)? Things like that, keep it shout though.

Talk about your education and job experience. They just want a brief summary of what you have done that would help in this job that you are applying for. You can also put it back on them and say "What exactly did you want to know?"

Tell them about your productive personality, like you are a very independent person, and believe you can increase the productivity of the their business, that you are a very motivated person,,,How you manage to do that

What I usually talk about is a summary of resume. Mostly because its a stupid question, just to see what comes out of your mouth.
