Yep. Read Revelation. Last book in the Bible. Tells of the Whore of Babylon and her destruction. She is the world wide organization of false religion and her downfall is at the hands of the governments.
How soon? Happening now. Hold on it is going to be a bumpy ride.

I don't think so. It is so depressing how history repeats itself--as a race, we never seem to learn from our mistakes and cycles of violence continue.
At the core of every religion is the belief that We are the only ones who are right, all other religions are wrong. So unless everyone somehow magically decides to convert to one global religion, there will always be stupid religious conflict.

Even without religion there would still be conflict in the world.
Most "religious" conflict is political put in the guise of religion.
Example: IRA was/is a "Catholic" paramilitary group in Northern Ireland. UDF is a "Protestant" paramilitary group in Northern Ireland. Both Catholic and Protestant Christians believe God said "thou shall not kill" and "love your enemy". But they went on and killed each other for decades. It was politics and not religion, since the true living of religion would bring one to be more moral.

As long as there are humans on the earth there will be conflict of all kinds. Yes, there is a lot of conflict that comes from religions. . .and it is a shame . . .God's love is for all, not some, not just people you like, not just people who agree with you 100% about everything. . .but for all.

Wars are fueled by the desire for money. Religion is just the tool that gets the idiot citizens on board for the ride.

The religious people will be bred out through time. You cannot deny the growing presence and strength of science and technology. Future generations will have more and more people who refuse to believe fairy tales. The old will die off.

The world as it is will never have peace. One day though, after Satan is cast into the lake of fire, there will be peace.
