well you could try a relationship and see if it works.

or if you don't want an older guy just tell him and if he really likes you he'll understand.

I think you should hang out with him. Don't get too serious (at least for now), but just get to know each other. It's only a two year difference. Right now you might think it's a lot but it's really not. There's nothing wrong with it and if you like him then I think it would be cute. But i have a question...is your friend OK with all this?

God I have been in those shoes before. Its a trickey situation because your friend may not like the fact of you and her brother dating. I would talk to her first and tell her how you feel and how you think he feels and see what she says. If she is OK with it, then move forward. But if she really isn't, then back off of him.

Be careful. you're still pretty young to be getting into a relationship with someone 2 years older. I think that you should just try being friends.

As long as it is hanging out and platonic I don't see a problem unless your parents have age restrictions. If your not sure, ask. Do not, no matter what, try to sneak around, it always ends badly.

There is nothing wrong with hanging out and becoming friends with this guy. Take it slow, nothing too serious too soon. As long as your parents are ok with it, I say live it up girl. You'll figure out pretty soon whether you really like him...

Do you think that your parents would be ok with you guys dating or even just hanging out together? Believe me, if your parents aren't going to be cool with it then it is so not worth the hassle!

it's ok to like someone who is a couple of years older, just don't let him push you into anything you are not ready for. And make sure your parents are ok with this.

At your age it seems too young to be on dates alone, only group activities. So if you like him see him along with friends so you don't have to be alone with him.
