That's what politicians are for. Afterall, they can give themselves raises without us (the people they work for) even having a say in the mater.

Interesting that man gave this precious Bible passage the name the "golden rule" -

The Bible is full of wisdom showing us how to conduct our lives in a way that pleases God and helps us get along with our fellow man.

Luke 6:31 "Treat others the same way you want them to treat you."

How would the world be a different place if we did just that?

Unfortunately that seems to be fact. Actually if they have enough Gold to rule they become slaves to their Gold. So truly the Gold rules.
