The lower the thread count, the less wrinkles but I wouldn't sacrifice comfort for wrinkle free. I press the pillow cases on my high count sheets but really it doesn't matter. After one night they're wrinkled anyway.

I would go for a high thread count for softness. As far as wrinkles go, I think if they are soft and the bed well made, then there aren't too many wrinkles. Stressing on wrinkles in the sheets is a pretty OCD type of thing. Ironing them? You must have way too much free time.

Go for higher thread count and when you wash your sheets/dry your sheets take them out of the dryer immeadiately and put them on the bed they won't be wrinkled... IRON SHEETS you must be crazy !!!

A lot of sheets these days are no-iron, and a couple of washings will get rid of the fold lines. Check your local department store, or bed and bath linen shop if you're looking for high-end sheets.

Good luck!

If you ironed them and didn't sleep on them they should stay wrinkle free. lol

250 thread count or higher! The higher the thread count, the longer they will last, the better they will look, and the better you will sleep. Egyptian Cotton is great!
