I saw god placing bets in a small, out of the way casino in Henderson, NV. He likes to place bets. We talked for a while and then played black jack. 14 black jacks in a row, and he left, never to be seen again.

Phil 4:13 "I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me."
These guys give glory to the Lord when they suceed, though God did not play favorites. He is your Father in Heaven: He wants to see all His children succed within His will. Example: On this nondiscriminent night the pitcher on the mound is a strong Christian and the batter at the plate is a strong Christian. Both pray for Jesus's strength in playing their best, not being injured and it all be for His glory. Bottom of the ninth, two outs, two on and home team is down by 2. Said batter steps up against said pitcher and hits a walk-off three run homerun. Why the batter and not the pitcher? Maybe in some household in America, one young man is watching the game and the hitter is his favorite player. Player hits a homerun, estaticly runs around the bases, and thanks Jesus for the strength to suceed. Now that young man has just been witnessed to and based on it, becomes a Christian the next day. That was all done for one person that night as Jesus said "He would leave the 99 for the one."

People are not pawns in a chess game of baseball or anything else. God does not influence the outcome of games. People win because of hard work and developed skill and sometimes a few things outside their control, like the wind or humidity. Just because the players look up does not mean that God has influenced the game.

God goes through his baseball card collection every day, trading them out with newwer ones Michael and Gabriel bring up from their forays into our world, and older ones Moses and Peter brought with them from back in the day. Whenever he gets a new one in his collection, that guy gets a home run or strikes out a great batter. It's not reward and punishment, it's getting a good trade on a valuable card!

I always liked the "I'd like to thank God for getting me here today" after the game speech.
Did God make you do those burnouts after practice was over? Did God make you keep to a diet that lets your body operate at maximum capacity? Did God make you practice until you finally perfected your technique?

Playing ball is not part of God's will for mankind.
He hears prayers that are in harmony with what He thinks is important. It's the same with war...God does not bless one side over another because they are both breaking his laws of do not kill, love your neighbor, do unto others, fruitages of the spirit:
Love, joy, peace, mildness, kindness. long suffering, goodness, self control, faith

Why do football teams that win a game always thank God as if He chose them and helped them win, but the losing team never says "God hates us and made us lose".
