Not children in general, I'd say teens in particular. I use the net for security and game downloads from download.com, my favourite site, soccer news (you don't get sports channels in Chennai), to search previous year Board papers, use Wikipedia for assignments and finally, to keep my Top Contributor badge! I'd say the most dangerous site I ever visited was yahoo.com!
But I know what some teens do. They use their PC know-how the wrong way. They go to **** sites, incited by their 'friends' no doubt, and get addicted. They clear cookies, history etc. to cover their tracks and tell their parents that a Reg cleaner did it.
Younger kids get trapped by predators as they're too young to know what communicating with a total stranger can lead to. But the teens are different. They do it by choice. They are the ones who misuse.

There's a lot of ways that children can misuse the net. They could give out personal info to predators. Don't you watch dateline? They could look up violent sites or **** sites. Sometimes they can get test answers online. There's just too many things out there. You have to be very watchful about where your kids go online.
