Negative. It was the homosexual activities that was pervasive.

What made it even worse, Prophet Lot offered his daughters to the men going after the angels who looked like men.

This was a society that had become utterly depraved and sinful. Sexual sin was obviously running rampant. Not only did the town come to Lot's house and ask to have sex with the 2 visting men, but after Lot left the city, his own daughters got him drunk and slept with him to get pregnant. That shows me that sexual sin was the norm in those cities and these 2 daughters of a "righteous" man were caught up in it.

If you want to take the inhospitable track, it doesn't make sense. The wording in the English Bible says all the town showed up and asked to know the men. Sounds pretty hospitable to me. But that isn't what it says, the word know in the Bible, in this place, is the same word as Adam knowing Eve in Genesis and producing babies. Look at the original language.

Yes and they were destroyed because the inhabitants were generally morally depraved and uncompromisingly greedy. Though homosexual acts were seen as an abomination, the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were guilty of many other sins as well. Rabbinic writings affirm that the primary crimes of the Sodomites were terrible and repeated economic crimes, both against each other and outsiders

WOW.. There are a lot of people that have NO IDEA what they're talking about...

There was more sin going on in sodom apart from inhospitality and ill-treating guests. Men having affairs with fellow men and women having affairs with fellow women, did not want anything to do with God and many more.

The real sin of Sodom is just what the city says, they sodomized people, & everyone in Sodom was not gays & lesbians, but that society went along with their life style. Therefore God destroyed it all.
