No tarot card readers are decent.
The best they can do is a skill called "cold reading", where they say vague or unconfirmable things while fishing for more detailed information about the subject. This is effective, because the subject tends to only remember the more accurate claims and forgets the amount of fishing it took to get there or the amount of confirmation given to the reader's proddings.

I wish I could help you. Unfortunately I only know two people that have a gift for tarot and both are in the US.
Those that think tarot is rubbish are those that seem to think that the cards tell fortunes. The cards may hint at things that may happen, but nothing is set in stone. Tarot is... More like a tool to help gain insight and perspective.
Of course that's just my over-simplified way of putting it when I know there's people around that don't care to hear it. Saves me some time and effort. :)

My favorite cards are the Thoth deck. They are very powerful and accurate. I got them from a store in Colorado called Isis Books. I believe they have a website. You can buy Tarot cards at any Barnes and Noble Booksellers or Borders Bookstore. For a beginner, I recommend the Rider-Waite deck or the Marseille deck. If you go someplace with several decks to choose from, pick the one you feel most drawn to. Good luck, and happy hunting!

a guy called Drew McAdam. Have seen him twice now and he is spot on. Works quite like Derren Brown but its an entertaining night. He normally comes to a house and does about 6-8 people. Really nice guy too.

No such thing as a decent tarot reader....its like asking for a decent mugger or a decent burglar.
They'll all just take your money and run because it's all complete cobblers.

I don't know of any in your area, but I give online tarot readings (through an instant messenger service like AIM or Yahoo Instant Messenger). If you would like more details or information feel free to send me a message through yahoo 360 by clicking on my user name to the left of this text box and on my profile page will be an option to send me a message. :-) I hope to hear from you!
