I've taken a hand-cylce for a spin when I had a knee injury. They are very easy to ride (but low to the ground). You should know that the cycling community frowns on the use of hand cycles by people who are able to ride regular bikes.

Hand cycles cost ~$2400 new and are hard to find used.

i don't know what a hand cycle bike is but ive rode a cycle bike.. scary things when they go fast. .. my school had about 20 cycle bikes hehe=)

I did in physical therapy for my shoulder. It was boring and it made me sore but it worked the muscles really well.
