I don't quite understand your question. Clearly, global warming strategies chosen by national governments are going to be influenced by politics. That's they're nature, everything they do is political.

Yeah, you've got some good points though. And I think some developed countries are being huge risk takers - they're taking the risk that Global Warming isn't going to happen and not preparing for it.

Can you tell me one thing that is not used by the politicians for their advantage to win the next elction in present day? Global warming is no exception.

But do not forget that it is Al Gore who talked to the bottom of the hearts of Americans (and to the non Americans who were lucky ennough to see it) that it is the 'Inconvenient Truth' and we have to act fast,if the human kind has to survive.

The politicians are going to dink around talking big and doing nothing while warming proceeds. Suddenly, it will be too late (and maybe it is already) and the whole world economy will collapse.

Study Easter Island to see how cleverly we humans use our big brains when it should be obvious a catastrophe is coming. Overpopulation vs limited resourses and no plan beyond "I'll get mine"..

Political, are you kidding? Don't you see how much money is circulating because of this bulls*it? It's economical before being political. After all, look how many work positions are created around the world to look after this cr#p.

The whole global warming hype has ALWAYS been political. It's why we see such poor science being used to promote things like the Kyoto treaty and other such nonsense.

Well duuuuuuuh! Of course it is politicized. There is not a politician on this planet that is not all too happy to jump on the latest bandwagon. He who has the money makes the rules. He who rules has the money to rule.
