Buy yourself a straightening iron, or flat iron. They are just like curling irons, but they are flat and will iron out your frizz and curls. I have frizzy/curly hair, too. I use a dab of John Freida's Frizz Ease cream and rub it thru my DRY hair. Then start ironing small sections of hair at a time, until you get the desired effect. Be sure to use a good conditioner when you shampoo, to protect your hair. Also the Frizz Ease product applied just prior to straightening helps protect the hair from the heat damage.
Buy a good quality iron with ceramic plates. They're not expensive. I only paid about $20-$25 for mine.

Trish:
Use a flat iron and products for frizzy hair.
It may be harder in the summer but it's the best option.
How do I know? I have very wavy/frizzy hair and have gotten my hair to look like my avitar -
I had two relaxers done one was a vavoom product and wound up burning my hair -
the other was the Japanese hair relaxer I got to be a "head" while Matrix trained my "girl" at first I thought it was amazing but parts of my hair burned out (to the scalp)
So - I just use the flat iron/products. Consult a professional though perhaps you are a great candidate but at 14 I'd start slow.

well you could have your hair relaxed proffessionally at a salon, that way the results last longer, then and kinks should be smooth, natural looking waves. then use anti-frizz serum every day on wet or dry hair and get yourself a pair of GHDs.

you could also use a serum, my friend uses sunsilk, then use a straightening iron
