You shouldn't be dating outside of your general age apparently. His priorities are slightly misleading. He will date an underage girl, yet he urges you to wait to have sex until your at least 18. If you feel you are right in dating someone this far older than you and are actually bringing up sex and He's the one trying to talk sense into you , than I think you need to re-establish some values and morals for yourself and try just enjoy being a teen and not complicating your life with matters that are obviously to mature for you right now.

i dont think its wrong well as long as you are minimum 16 and he seems to me like a good guy because he doesnt want you for sex as many guys are like that :/ so it may be better for you to wait? because its something that you will remember it for the rest of your life you surely wanna have a good memory of it and not looking back later and tell yourself ahh what a mistake ! i was too young and not ready! lol

He probally thinks he is robbing the cradle, and by the way you speak i think his fears arnt unfounded. Guys who respect you in this fassion are rare, dont ruin it over some hormone induced emotion

You're both at two different stages in life. He's in his twenties...Of course, it depends on the level of maturity both of you have.

It's good that he wants to wait until you're legal.
