I have a 1999 Nissan Sentra Series III Super Saloon, will a 9004 headlight bulb work or should I use an H4?

I usually buy a H4 headlight type bulb, but my aunt bought a 9004 headlight type bulb. Will it work or is there something that I should add to make it work?

You will not get a choice because the 9004 is what fits and has a O ring to seal it to the headlamp housing.
