I really don't want her to but i can't do anything else.

Firstly, her family members need to realize that their remarks are hurting her in a very dangerous way and need to stop, the damage to her self esteem can trigger suicidal behavoir and apparently is.

What concerns me the most is that at her age,she knows that going without food is deadly,it's obvious. I don't think she'll be able to go through with it,but I do think it's her way of crying out for help

Talk to her about finding positive ways of helping herself. There are support groups in every city, from Weight Watchers to Over-Eaters Anon, free support group of people going through exactly what she is.

Weight loss should always be a personal decision, something we do for ourselves. When we react to poisonous relationships and remarks by hurting ourselves, the help we need is beyond mere dieting. I'd really look into Over-Eaters Anon,it's a wonderful support system based on the 12-steps program and puts people in touch with those who care and can help rebuild her self esteem as well as loose weight. When we learn to love ourselves and be proud of who we are as people,we start doing the things needed to bring us health and happiness and dieting is much easier and more fun in a peer group like O.A.

Good luck and remind her of how much YOU value her, even if others don't. She's a sacred, beautiful human being and deserves respect, weight is a personal health issue only and has no bearing on ones worth or beauty.

the only problem - muscles can turn fat into energy

but there is one organ that requires carbs - - - - - the grey matter

the brain needs carbs to think -

she needs to rethink her water diet - or we will all think that she is a couple french fries short of a Happy Meal

Trust me, her survival instincts will kick in and she'll eat before she dies. Or, she'll pass out or get sick from malnutrition and end up in the hospital.

Either way, she'll learn her lesson. Just let time run it's course.

Now OVEREATING, that's the suicide.
