my boyriend dumped me cus i shouted at him on a plane ( there was a good reason to) anyway now he wants to keep in touch with me when i said ok i shall move on now you have dumped me, what are his reasons for this and why would he want to??? he is 45 and i am 28

When people came out of their anger, they will realize that they have done/said things which is not suppose to. That's what happened to you. He realize that he needs you but was furious when he dumped you. It's the lovers' frills, I guess! And also maybe he's jealous that you seems okay with it and decided to move on. So u see, it hurts their ego to just let you go and knowing that you are okay with it. (He hope you'll beg for him to stay....)

Firstly, the age difference might be a problem (for him or you) and you really ought to do a bit of soul searching to find out if you really should be in a relationship with the man!
Secondly, and this works both ways, you humiliated your boyfriend in front of other people, in a public place. The best thing to have done, would to have kept your voice low (once you were sitting together) and then you should have told him how annoyed you are with him.
He might possibly have been been thinking something like: "this girl shouldn't be talking/shouting at me like this -she's making me look SO Stupid".
Perhaps its best to keep this man as a casual friend -and nothing more!
Remember, nobody likes to be humiliated by another person, especially someone that they care for.
Life is too short for arguments -its probably time to look for someone who's in his mid 30s. You'd have more interests in common, and understand each others needs more easily.

Why did you shout at him in public, do you think that shows repect to to your boyfriend?. I would have dumped you on the spot.
I cannot understand why he would keep in touch with a person who is a bully.

move on get over it . i mean he is 45 a mature man. well one would think, but he dumped you over you shouting at him on a plane come on get real.your young so really you should have no problems finding someone that isnt so immature yet aged....if that makes sense...... good luck.

well no one likes to be shouted at in front of a bunch of people no matter where it is or what it's about..he was prolly embarrassed because you did this and made him look bad in front of a bunch of strangers....he's a grown man hun, he does not need a woman yelling at him on a plane....just move on and find someone your own age....

He edging his bets!.. just in-case he doesn't find another someone else!.. Keeping touch with you leaves a chance for him to come back into your life..

im sorry but thats just stupid if hes doin that u desurve better because to me that sounds like an easy option out of the relationship hes jst messing you about tell him to get a life and move on from him (p.s not all guys are like that :) )
