Try finding the information online - I did a seach for Luton bus schedules and came up with a site where you can download a map of the bus stops -

Also it would help to know which service it is exactly that you are wanting information on -

The link below is the site I mentioned above

Passenger Transport Unit
Central Depot, Kingsway
Luton
Beds
LU4 8AU
Tel: 01582 54 72 54
Fax: 01582 54 73 51

A map showing where to catch your bus can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

Luton Borough Council supports the National Traveline which will be able to give details of bus services on 0871 200 22 33. (Please note that calls to this number are at 10p a minute from a landline and mobile rates will vary. Text messages can also be sent see http://www.traveline.org.uk/txt.htm for further information)

Using the bus avoids congestion, reduces environmental damage, and is a less stressful way of travelling compared to using the car. These maps show you the bus routes for Luton and where you can catch your bus from the town centre.

For further information on routes and timetables telephone Traveline on 0871 200 22 33.

Yes but you do not say if you mean local or national services.
the numbers quoted repeat themselves all over the country If local you will be able to contact tourist information. They will have one even in Luton

you need to know which company runs the buses in the area you want to travel in. Then go to their website and they will have the schedule details or else a phone number for recorded information. Some buses are run by stagecoach or first or other companies so you need to find this first.

erm, which county?
which days?
surely you know the name of your local bus service?
they will have a web site.
or at least a phone number.
if you are foreign, start with a web search for uk bus services.
then filter it down by region.
