He mentioned that he wants his car windows tinted. This sounds really lame as a birthday present . . or is it just a guy thing? Would he be happy with that as a bday present?

Thats an easy question, you want to be different than evryone else and want to give the best present. take him to a luxury spa and massage resort and stay there the whole day. This would be the best present, because in todays hectic life most people are under stress
the other alturnative is to buy him a pet horse to live in his backyard, he would definitely be surprised

get 'im what he wants. i know it's lame, but go with the tinted windows. it'll make him happy and that's what it's supposed to be about. it's his birthday, afterall. you should be getting him what HE wants, not what YOU want for him.

Well I would ask his parents...but no its not unheard of. But you can think of his interests and use that o give you some ideas.
Does he play golf? Go to the gym? Like movies....that sort of thing...good luck!

someone suprised me and had my windows done for my bday and i loved the gift. thought of them everytime i saw my car
