We dated for four years and I took the break up really bad. It took me about a year and a half to gain back my confidence and sensibility. Last time we had contact I told her that I had still had strong feelings for her and she was comforting. Now that I have moved on I hate the fact that she thinks I still love her. Will it do any justice to tell her that I have moved on, or I don't think of her the same way I used to. I guess is some ways I am searching for closure so I can share this big ole' heart of mine with some other incredible woman. Please share some past experiences or advice, maybe even a funny joke. Much love and big hugs!

Move on. She does not care if you have moved on. She left you. By telling her, you are letting her know that she still has an influence on you. Just let her guess, and don't be unfair to the new lady by holding on to those old feelings. Let them go! Time for you to find happiness too!! Good Luck!!

Just be honest with her and tell her its over maybe you two can be friends if she gets over it, but some people don't. Four years is a long time but if didn't work then its best to move on.

Well, I think you should tell/hint her that you are over her and moved on with your life so that she can move on with hers as well. She might be hanging on and I'm sure she doesn't want to wait for someone who's over her. Stay friends though, it's the least both of you can do. Good luck

ending a relationship is always hard, finding the right way is even harder, but you have to be hard and tell the poor girl it's over and you have moved on. this my friend is what you have to do, no but's about it. it will hurt, but in time you both will be better for it. good luck and i'm sure you will find the right words. take care

Maybe she has moved on too..
No need to tell her.
Just move on with your life..
PS-You say"I hate the fact that she still thinks I love her.."
This,to me ,sounds like you're still angry and want to hurt her or "get back" at her..
Check your true motives,I for one, think you are still hurt over what happened in the past between you guys..
Good luck.
Simply move on.
Nothing needs to be said.
