I don't think guys will like flowers. And sending flowers to Canada? I suggest a gift, a thing that he can keep.

Of course, yes! A single rose, would be read as volumes of love-(pamph)lets delivered! Guys have a hearts of gold, very tough like the metal, but meltable with just the right amount of warmth, poetically through gifts of flowers!

I've gotta feeling that, if he's a sensible guy, he will really appreciate the flowers. In a case like this, it really is the thought that counts. Those flowers aren't going to be just pretty, girly things to him. They are going to be a tangible symbol of your love for him, and that's the only thing he's going to care about. :)

I don't think guys like flowers.. I think it's not a good idea of sending him flowers. Why don't you send him other things as a birthday present? Something he likes, something is useful for him.

*Flowers are for girls who like to show off in front of the others*, haha~

I would have to say it depends on the guy. I for one would rather get a potted plant over flowers. Flowers seem to be a feminine gift. Also you got to concider where you are delivering them. Say you had them sent to him at his work place, would he be embarassed? I hope that helps.

I personally love the look and smell of flowers, but is a little girly. He could be embarrassed if friends of family saw him receiving flowers.

Sure. Gifts of flowers are a traditional gesture of love, and are not the sort of present you would be unhappy to receive.

I sent flowers to one of my ex boyfriends while we were dating, he loved it. I think its the meaning behind the flowers. Not all guys are gonna agree with me here.

Dont ask what guys would like. Ask yourself what he likes. Tools, books, beer, a gift card, a naughty picture of yourself?
Women & men are opposite most of the time when it comes to gifts. My wife likes sentiment, gestures, & useless things that are pretty. I like things I can do to work or relax - something that has a use.
Hope this helped.

umm no. in your situation it would probably be nice to recieve something from you because it shows you care. However no guy (straight or gay) that I have ever met gives a **** about flowers. They are a pointless gift that guys definitely do not care about. But like I said he would probably appreciated some token of affection, just to show that you are thinkin about him when he isnt even around.
