I was just eating a nectarine, everything about it looked fine, not at all rotten or anything, and I was slowly slicing off pieces when the pit cracked open and I looked and there were many many tiny bugs crawing out of it and I feel disgusting now and need to know what harm could come to me be accidentally eating any of them ? Could they carry parasites ? Help please I feel vile now.

The bugs usually stay in the pit, so I doubt you ate any of them. Even if you did accidentally eat a few of them, you'll still be ok.

The pit of a nectarine is the seed that the nectarine grows from. in case you look at different seeds, they are each now and then hollow besides with little factors interior. have a glance at a sunflower seed. It basically seems different because you eat the interior as a exchange of the outdoors.

The closest I can come to an answer is to guess that it was a bunch of Oriental Fruit Moths. Can you describe the bugs a little better please? Like, were they worms, or did they have legs? Wings? Color? I know it's gross, but without that we can only guess.
