I've been going out with a guy for more than a year. Now I'm about to move away for school, and we're not gonna go to the same school. We'll be away from each other for awhile. Due to some of my family issue, he said he never thought about getting married with me. We love each other lots, but he keeps saying that. Now with the long distance thing, what should I do? Should I break up with him or should I keep this relationship because who knows what's gonna happen? WHat should I do?It's gonna hurt if we break up, and I don't know how to deal with that. Please give me some advices. Thanks a lot

How far apart are you going to be from each other. I met a women in college and I went NIU which is 90 miles west of Chicago and she went to Purdue Univertsity in West Lafayette Indiana, about a 4/12 hour drive. I met her during the summer of before my junior year and the before her sophmore year and we dated and got married after she graduated granted we ended up divorced but years later and only because we grew apart as opposed to more together. So it is possible but being a freshman is gonna be tough but try it and if works great and if it doesnt don't sweat it and move on, but whatever you do have a blast in college it will be the most fun you will in your life.

There will be plenty of changes happening at your new school. You need to think about whether you want to be tied down, or have the opportunity to date new guys that will be living closer to you. College is a different life all together. You should be able to enjoy the experience. If you are going with someone that is far away, you will probably be missing out on a lot. Think about that before making any decisions. Good Luck!!

I think he's telling you that he wants to part ways. His thing about never marrying you is secret guy code for "I don't want a commitment."

Yes, it will hurt, but you'll get past it. You'll make a lot more friends in college so don't worry too much. Once you get there you'll be glad that you have the freedom to hang out and do whatever makes you happiest instead of sitting in your dorm wondering what he's up to all those miles away.

Just break up and be friends. Long distance relationship will make your life harder. Just be close friends with each other and meet other people. You have no other choice.

see how things go for the first few weeks while you are both away and if its meant to happen it will definitely happen..dont worryin..have fun while you are at school and meet tons of people or you'll regret it that you boxed yourself in because of a boy you've only been with for a year
