I have a 1965 Mustang Im gonna swap the engines out but i just want to know if a boss 302 would fit into a 65 mustang. Thank You.

Yes the engine will fit with stock 65 motor mounts. This will be a painless swap assuming that the car was originally a V8 car. If this is/was a 6 cyl car then you have some more work to do before you put a 302 between the shock towers. Unless your mustang is rare (K code or something along those lines) I would use the Boss engine without hesitation. The 4 bolt mains are just one of the advantages that will allow you to get a lot of power out of the engine safely (normal 289/302's are 2 bolt mains). Another thing to take into account, there might be someone out there with the Boss 302 that belongs to that engine-if that is the case, you could be sitting on a healthy sum of $ (its worth a fair amount either way).

It should 65s came with 289s and the 302 is basically the same engine.

oh yeah-but i would just stick with the 289 myself, to keep the classic more original and like it was when it was first built.

yes it will...............with minor alteration,s......basically the same as the 289 CID. that came in many of them!
