Foreskin or no Foreskin why or why not?

Which do you prefer, why or why not? And is the foreskin a useless part of the male anatomy?

Doesn't matter....however, it's said that it is more hygenical to remove the foreskin yet, the foreskin contains several nerves...so I guess the options are : Squeaky clean and alright...or Filthy and really intense! ; p

It is part of the male anatomy. It should not be the decision of doctors or parents to make such a huge decision for a male child. This decision can be made in later life by the subject male. If religion is your debate, we were created in God's image and it is not for anyone to change that. What if we lived in a society that the fifth finger was to be cut off at birth, or that a female child's sex organ was altered without her consent?

I do not subscribe to the hygiene theory as the male and female organs can be cleaned properly and it is natural to do so in our days. Why do women purchase products that assist in cleaning? Because just they are just like men who have foreskin that clean themselves as well.

As far as being "useless", well it must be there for some reason. It is actually a very important part of a man's penis. It protects the head's sensitivity and is important in sexual arousal. Those who are circumsized are not as sensitive to sexual activity and the frenulum is part of this on the underside of the penis; that being part that is removed.

If this were not so important for men, there would not be a wealth of of websites to restore what was butchered from them without their consent. Imagine going through life with the most sensitive part of your sexual anatomy absent and being allowed to rub as sandpaper against your underwear or jeans. That is what it is like for men and in many cases causes them not to want to have sex physically. Yes, they do mentally, but the physical aspect of it has been ripped from them as a baby.

There are countries that do similar things to young girls. They remove the clitoris and rob them of the pleasures that were vested in them by their creator. It is a abomination and should be a practice that should cease.

I knew a man who in gym class saw himself "different" because he had foreskin. At 18 he decided to become circumsized. He told me it was the biggest mistake of his life because he could not feel what he once did. I did not have a choice and told my father that what he did to me was wrong and that I could not forgive him for allowing that to happen to me. I asked my father, "How could you do that to me"? His response was that "Everyone did it", and I stated that was not a good reason. I currently try to restore foreskin to protect the most sensitive area of my male part.

no, actually the foreskin promotes reproduction in humans from a biological angle. the advent of circumcision came from both Hebrew religion and a cleanliness standpoint. as long as he is clean what is the difference?

It serves a very important function. And cleaning is the easiest thing in the world to do. Those who don't are just lazy. Circumcision is wrong and I can't wait until it goes away forever!

none. never saw 1 with a skin except 4 a magazine and I am not used to that. It is to keep bacteria etc. away like a coat I guess. Ask your doctor.

none because my husband says skin makes the tip smelly/stinky and u can get infection on that..plus the foreskin makes men more likely to getting "penial" cancer
