I don't really feel that way. While the future always has an element of unpredictability, it can be predicted with some regularity, and changing the direction of your life isn't something that is easily done or should be done on a whim.

Take a left on the 402, follow it for 3 days, then drive down the 101 until sunrise.
That should keep you on track.
