When I am saved what are the next steps. And i do not mean just reading the word and praying and going to meet with other christians. What is the intrinsic things taking place within my being. What is God's goal in saving me. Is it just to find out what my gift or ministry is and serve in that capacity? Is it just to preach the gospel and demonstrate God's love to others? Is it just to live a good life and die and go to heaven? Or is it for something more. Is this all that there is?
I do believe that there is more to it that just this.

You state" not just reading the word and praying" well its from reading the word and praying that you develop your relationship with the Lord. Your attitude is like someone saying" Ok I have just got married now what?" You grow in that relationship and through that relationship you will be led by the spirit of God to do those things that he would have you to do which is first of all to be a witness to your immediate
surroundings.Dont worry about preaching the Gospel worry about living the gospel.Its through praying, reading the word and church that you begin to grow in the grace and knowledge of God and begin to develop spiritual maturity.
How can you help anyone if you do not know the word?
How can God impart the gifts of the spirit to you if you do not pray?
Jesus was the Son of God and prior to starting his ministry he spent 40 days in the wilderness this was a time of rendering his will(the flesh) to his Father's will. He then came out of the wilderness and was Baptized in water at which time the Holy Spirit came upon him.
Have you been baptized in water?
Follow all the commands of Christ, develop your relationship with Jesus and other Christians and allow God to lead you and inspire you and he will open doors of opportunity that you would have never thought was possible.

If you realy are born again and not just mocking the new born again and christianity, well you'll find that reading the New Testament will answer all your questions and more.
You are now a new creature, you must get to know your Father and it is only through the Bible that you will. The Holy Spirit will teach you...
Girl the adventure is just begining and you have no idea how "adventurous" it is but you will grow beyound your wildest dreams. YOu will have all sorts of times, good, hard, spiritual battle, but God will be there with you all the way if you let HIm.
YOu will find out His plan for your life and how to get there, and that you finally have a purpose which is not just to make money or have a family, but more.
Start reading, start praying cause their is a titlewave coming your way, if you don't belong to satan anymore he won't make it easy for you but God will hold you and you'll see how real, even more than you can imagine, God is.

Oh, it's so much more and you will learn and grow in amazing ways that you never imagined possible. It's a relationship with the Creator of the Universe. You now have the most important relationship of your entire life. God's goal is to know you and for you to know him more. God loves you and it's magnificent - it's beyond what any human man can give a girl. It's way beyond the eros love that our culture has elevated to #1. It's beyond any love that you have ever known. The more you experience it the better it gets. Life will not be wonderful or easy - but you can tap into strength to get through anything and just when things are at their worst - you find strength and power that is not in you to overcome and do things that you never thought were possible. He's using your life and circumstances to prepare you for eternity. He has a goal for you in eternity - in heaven - that everything that is happening to you now down here is a part of. He's building His character into you and I could sit here and cite verses for you to support this - but it sounds like that's not what you're looking for right now. But, the more you grow the more you'll realize just how amazing it is - when he changes your character - and you begin living life in a new and changed way, relationships will happen that were never before possible, and many of your deepest longings will be fulfilled. That's the best way I can put it in the least amount of words - I could go on!!!

Theres soooo much more. After you've been saved the next step is to fully and truely commit your life to Christ, and not just kill time or because u wana make Christianity more interesting, but because you love Jesus and you're so happy that hes in your life. Once you've truely commited your self to being God's servent, God's plan for your life will come.Good luck and I'll be praying for you.

When you accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ & follow Him,you are to be baptized for the remission of sin by a preacher or elder of the church.
Our whole purpose in life is to love God & always serve Him & bring others to Him by way of love & the truth of the word.

no one can tell you what you specifically are going to do for God. Best thing to do is pray and ask God himself to guide you onto the path he wants you to go down. It sounds like you need to believe more and have more trust and faith before you start wondering about the plan God has for you for the rest of your life.

Do not seek the wisdom of man. Talk to the source. He will tell you what he wants from you...and you will learn a great deal about Him as well. The rest is window dressing.

you have a heavenly ministry that you have been called to. Not an earthly one but a heavenly one. When you are performing your heavenly ministry all the other will be dictated by the Spirit for you.
