why are all boys dorks? My old bf is one, my dad is one, even my brother is one.?

I have 6 brothers, 2 brothers in law, a Dad, Uncles a husband and a son and male friends. Guess what they really aren't dorks but they are wired completely different than us. I have learned to rely on them for what I need a man for and cherish the differences. If we were more alike life would be boring. Men and boys are really cool creatures.

I have found that if I treat them well that they treat me well. Here is an example.
My brother Mark, I automatically get him a cold drink in the summer and a hot one in the winter when he walks in my door. He does the same for me but here is the kicker. He walks into my kitchen says hi to his wife and comes to me and says hi and kisses me on the cheek as I pour his drink. His wife would never go out of her way to wait on him, I don't consider it waiting on him, he didn't ask, none of my brothers or my husband ever ask. I just do it, but guess what they do it for me too. We treat each other with respect and dignity and the golden rule, do one to others as you would have them do to you. When I was pregnant my husband wouldn't allow me to cook a meal, out of appreciation for his child taking over my body. It is give and take and once you learn that you will be OK. But a man will usually think logically first and a woman with her heart.

I think it is something in their genetic make-up. I grew up in a house full of guys and now I am married with 3 sons and yes they are all HUGE pains!
