this is a wierd question really dont know how to explain it but ill try my best.how can you tell the difference from "puppy-love" or the "real-deal". me and my girlfriend have been going out for 8 months and it has been the most amazing months in my life.shes great she makes me laugh.we talk alot,we both care about each other alot.we both say we love each other and kiss.she even told me she wanted to marry me when we get older.(we are 16) and i feel the same way.we been through some tough times but stuck it out and made it through.we spend almost everyday together.we both respect each otehr and trust each other with all our hearts.i think its th real deal but i want to see what yall think aobut it?
is it just puppy-love or can it be a real deal kinda relationship?

Usually high school relationships don't work out but I know some people who got married after graduating from high school to their high school sweethearts. It sounds like the real deal to me but it's really what you and her believe it to be.

If she's your first for sure you can count on that you will always remember her. However, it's not really what is or isn't said. Do you both respect each other? Do you respect her boundaries? How do you two resolve conflict? Do you both always consider the other person first? Are you aware of her faults? Are you willing to deal with them and accept them? When there's nothing to do or no place to go, are you two bored with each other or still having a wonderful time being together? Ok, now answer your own question. You should have the answer. Good Luck!

It's now about what we think.
You are two young to really know what love is (but it is
possible that it is the real-deal!) If it is your first serious
relationship (for both) then you should losen up a little
bit, because maybe it is puppy love, but if you feel it
deep down inside your heart, then think about it twice
and a few more hundred times and you'll find out if it
is the real deal.

seems like a fruitful relationship. Don't pay too much attention to the marriage thing though. people feel love and say things in a "wouldn't it be nice..." kind of way, that doesn't mean it will happen. you stillhave a lot of years to go through, finish HS and go to college if u want. so just enjoy ur relationship for as long as it lasts and take it one day at a time.

if you have no doubt in your mind that it's real, and your not some stupid kid thats told all of his girlfriends since he was 12 'i love you' .. and youre thinking of a future together, I'd say it seems like the real deal.
I never talked about married with my boyfriends when I was in highschool.. until I met the one I'm still with, and were were 15-16 when we started dating to, so I know it's possible, people might not believe it, but It is possible..
Just have no doubts in your mind.. thats how you'll nkow

Sounds like me and my boyfriend. We've been dating for ... actually it'll be 1 yr and 4 months tomorrow. His mom called it puppy love one time I think around our 3rd or 4th month together. You guys sound pretty much exactly like us, and it is the real deal with us, or so we believe. Neither of us can think of a single reason to live without the other. So yea, I think it's the real deal.

Puppy love. Dude, u r just 16, u r spending the money ur parents earn. So, u still dont know how hard to earn money in the society yet, maybe ur relationship will last for few years, but i dont think she will be ur wife forever.

You have a long time to date her. time will tell all.
Just take it slow and if it is right you will know it. you still have a few years left in school you never know maybe she is your high school sweet-heart and things will be good but don't plan your future yet take your time enjoy your life right now. You can worry about that stuff later have some fun
