Simple... because if they are caring and trustworthy... they wouldn't be called "guys"

well thats a racist question.
Not all guys are dogs, and not all guys are not trust worthy.
It sounds like you had a bad situation with a boyfriend. And I apologize for that situation. Guys like the person you are talking about are the reason why men have a bad rep about being dogs.
Hopefully the next guy you like or end up with, give him a chance to prove himself before assuming that he is a dog.
A lot of men get mowed over by womens insecurities and get blamed for cheating when most of the time they don't. But after a while of being accused time and time again, the man will cheat just so he can get yelled at for a legit reason.
I'm not saying your boyfriend didn't cheat. I don't know him.
I'm just answering to let you know that there are men out there that aren't dogs. I've been cheated on by my old girlfriends, doesn't mean I should go hating all the women in the world.
Being cheated on sucks, and I don't wish it on anyone.

There are a lot of us that are trustworthy. We just aren't the ones you generally go for. Women SAY they want guys like us, but then go for the ones that need to be "fixed."
You have no idea how pissed off we get when you come to us later crying about the jerks you choose instead. Try dating the dependable ones.

If you have ever owned a dog in your life, you will know that dogs are kind, loveable, loyal, and give you unconditional love. They are happy when you come home to them wagging its tail and ready to give you a wet sloppy tongue across your face. So ask yourself this question: By calling us dogs, are you complimenting the man or insulting dogs?
That being said. There are a lot of men who are bad, cold and unfaithful. On the same token, there are equal numbers of bad women out there too. It is an unfair judgement you make on men when you call us "dogs". Just keep in mind that it is your man who is uncaring and untrustworthy. Not all men.
