I highly doubt Yahoo cares, but when I cancelled $1000/year of various advertising and hosting services 30 minutes ago, I specifically said that my unwarranted account deletion by unhinged Answers Staff was the sole reason.

When asked, Answers told me I was deleted for "impersonating a donkey". That's a quote. THAT is why I was deleted.

If any of you really believed I was a donkey, you probably shouldn't be answering question to start with.

To all: If I had ever asked a truly hateful question, I would understand.

However, I almost never had content deleted.

I'm surprised not only at the obvious idiocy, but that YA has the nads to delete a popular top contributor. Your questions and answers are really entertaining; there are probably some people who stick around to see what you're going to say next. I know there are some kooks around here that send hate mail (hence my closed mail box) but I thought the corporation was supposed to be the voice of reason. You need to cut and paste their justification for the deletion and make it available for the other forums to see and send it on to whomever is in charge of this mess. Tell them Yahoo is impersonating a professional corporation!

Impersonating a donkey? That has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard! I have read the Yahoo terms of use and guidelines. I do Not recall "impersonating a donkey" as a violation. Fight on, Donkey! Fight on!

I think some people are missing the obvious here. What's another word for donkey? Jackass. The person who banned you was saying you were a jackass, not being literal.

Impersonating a donkey *means* Acting like jackass

I don't think you are one. I don't even know you. Just pointing out the veiled insult that they handed you.

I understand how you feel, but I'm afraid your question is begging for a flag. I don't report anyone, but there are some trigger happy people on this site whose only mission in life is hitting the abuse button. Try deep breathing and counting to 100.

Oh...my...god. That is the most retarded reason I have ever heard of for deleting somebody. This is like King Louis in France when the people were starving and banging on the doors begging for food, and he just pretended like he didn't see them.

I guess I better go put a real picture of myself up so I don't get deleted. But it'll scare you more than Patrick's picture of that weird bunny.

In my opinion, that's just not right. Are they going to tell me that being a fan of Seattle is not appropriate behavior? Should we all be worried now? I think that you may have been deleted for other reasons, but they would probably face legal ramifications if they ever told you the truth. Welcome back, by the way.

No. It's not a sin. I would fight it too. You're not a donkey? What? I thought donkeys spoke English. Man! lol.
